The Context:
Russian aggression and the war in Ukraine started February 24th 2022. Unimaginable violence and lack of consideration for the human life forced people of Ukraine to flee their country and of course they are also here in the Netherlands, in Amsterdam and Amsterdam area. We have been doing our best to accommodate, create safe spaces and also moments for connection and as the government support is not yet available or limited for the people of Ukraine as well as people who volunteer their homes to those brave souls, we decided to create this foundation to try to connect, support local initiatives as well as stimulate entrepreneurial efforts.

Who we are:
Burgundy Productions Stichting is a cultural NGO founded in 2018 and currently is also used to facilitate the needs for Ukrainian relief. We also cooperate with businesses in Amsterdam.

Our Aim:
We aim to provide financial, emotional, and cultural support to the Ukrainian community in Amsterdam, Amsterdam Area and the Netherlands through a series of grants and micro-loans.
We aim to foster growth in home crafting and manufacturing (jewellery, clothwork, etc.), cooking and food services, and other culturally linked activities that can grow into sustainable sources of support for Ukrainian residents in Amsterdam, Amsterdam Area and the Netherlands and their communities. Our projects are taken out on a small scale but in growing volume and they aim to make direct positive differences in the lives of individuals and families.
